Currently based in Singapore,

Vicki has worked with many companies and individuals in the film & visual 
entertainment industry in the
United States, contributing massively to

growth and positive change in start-ups or putting in best efforts for final film delivery or corporate change at larger corporations and organizations.

 

She received many national and international awards and recognition for her passion in visual effects & video production execution, creativity and service; attracting many clients and project offers - even a British High Commission-proposed project for Prince William.

Vicki became eligible for an O-1B visa in January 2014 prior to graduating in May 2014 with an Outstanding Achievement Award and 
Summa Cum Laude (highest honours) Bachelor's in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art & Design. In March 2019, she was offered an MBA admission (with an entrance award) to University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management but strategically declined after intense deliberation.
 
Vicki values work that stimulates the mind and encourages creative and analytical thinking - the more challenging and difficult the problem or task, the better. Coupled with an uncanny ability to read situations from multiple perspectives and a ruthless work ethic, Vicki is highly adaptable and can match the part required for the job.
In her spare time, Vicki bodybuilds, practises golf, reads philosophy, writes poetry, goes dancing & singing, and seeks out new exciting experiences.

In September 2019, Vicki completed her first ever 8KM competitive race as part of the Batman Run Series in Singapore, ranking 80 of 239 in the Women's Open.

In September 2017, Vicki's startup had been 1 of the 41 selected out of 900 applicants from all over the world to pitch and compete in the inaugural Slingshot@SWITCH competition - a government and industry-sponsored competition for the world's most innovative technology startups.

In May 2016, Vicki was notified of an official approval of her United States O-1 visa for individuals with extraordinary ability and achievement, fulfilling majority of the criteria for nationally-recognized excellence in her field.

Taking SMPTE by Storm

In October 2015, Vicki was part of a group of hand-picked presenters who took the stage at this year's SMPTE Annual Technical Conference Symposium featuring VR/AR, where she presented her observations in the new market of live-action VR as one of SMPTE's few youngest female speakers. She was also on the "Is VR a New Art Form?" panel, earlier in the Symposium.

Since early 2015, Vicki has made headway into the Virtual Reality scene, singlehandedly innovating VR stereoscopic workflow and pipelines using a variety of software for start-up VR Playhouse and making similar contributions in compositing content for VRSE.

Vicki was selected as an awards judge for the 2014 HPA Awards  Visual Effects features and commercials category, judging blockbuster films such as "Gravity" and "Planet of the Apes 2".

In August 2014, Vicki attended the 2014 Primetime Emmys in support of the visual effects work done on Emmy-nominated episode "30 Days Without an Accident" from "The Walking Dead" Season 4.
